Description

The U.S. Coast Guard Office of Public Affairs (CG-0922) requires global Media Monitoring and Journalist Database/Outreach software as a service to access the most relevant news impacting the Coast Guard receive the right data, with the right context, at the right time to inform impactful earned media communication strategies that shape and inform the Coast Guard brand.

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard Office of Public Affairs (CG-0922) requires global Media Monitoring and Journalist Database/Outreach software as a service (SaaS) to access the most relevant news impacting the Coast Guard.

The goal is to receive the right data, with the right context, at the right time to inform impactful earned media communication strategies that shape and inform the Coast Guard brand. This software will facilitate global media monitoring across various outlets and provide a comprehensive journalist database for effective outreach.

Work Details
The contractor will provide a web-based global media monitoring service that includes:

1. Global media monitoring across at least 150 countries and 60 languages.
2. Access to pay-walled content from major publications such as the New York Times and Washington Post.
3. The ability to track and analyze unlimited keyword mention streams.
4. Integration of media monitoring, media relations team workflow, and journalist database functionality within one platform/logon.
5. Generation of comprehensive media monitoring reports or dashboards that consolidate information from multiple media outlets into a single report, easily exportable to common formats like Excel, Word, or PowerPoint.
6. Access to global journalist profiles with capabilities for crafting targeted distribution lists and measuring engagement metrics such as open rates and click-through rates.
7. A function for logging outreach activities and replies within the journalist database platform, allowing collaborative visibility among users regarding interactions with specific journalists.
8. Tracking of media relations team workflows, integration with email accounts, assignment of tasks, prioritization of requests, and identification of media inquiries types.
9. Customizable news clip emails based on unlimited keyword searches distributed daily to an unlimited number of recipients.
10. Embedding broadcast clips within news clip emails accessible to all recipients.
11. Notifications for users when spikes in media coverage are detected.
12. Unlimited virtual training/onboarding for USCG users on utilizing the tool effectively.
13. Customer support available 24/7 via chat or email except during government emergencies.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at locations relevant to the U.S. Coast Guard's operations.
