Mechanical-Electrical- Plumbing (MEP) IDIQ - BARC   2

Background
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has a requirement for a single award Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) to provide Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) for repair and maintenance, alteration, and/or new Modernization construction projects for its Beltsville Agriculture Research Center (BARC) and Arboretum facilities located in Beltsville, MD and Washington, D.C. The contract will be for a five-year ordering period from February 3, 2024 to February 2, 2029.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials to perform all operations in connection with the construction program for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP). The work includes design, construction, repair, alteration, environmental remediation and maintenance services for MEP projects by means of an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC).

The contract pricing will consist of two components: Direct Labor with competitive Firm Fixed Price fully burdened labor rates and Equipment/Materials with competitive Overhead and Profit rate applied to all materials and equipment costs. Task Orders will be issued through the Request for Task Order Proposal (RTOP) process. The Contractor shall manage the total work effort associated with the services required in each task order to meet the performance objectives and standards.

Period of Performance
The period of performance of this contract is from February 3, 2024 to February 2, 2029.

Place of Performance
The geographical limitations of this contract include BARC campus and the Arboretum located in Beltsville, MD and Washington, D.C.
