MDC 3230 HAYWARD CRANE PURCHASE   2

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Marine Design Center, (MDC), is issuing this solicitation for the acquisition of one (1) new marine deck crane and diesel-powered hydraulic power unit (HPU). The crane will be placed in service on the main deck level and will replace the existing Pettibone Model 130 Krane, and the HPU will be mounted below deck and replace the existing diesel HPU on the Drift Collection Vessel (DCV) HAYWARD. The DCV HAYWARD is owned by the New York District (NAN) Caven Point Marine Terminal (CPMT) and operates in the New York/New Jersey operating area. The deck crane and HPU acquired by this solicitation will be supplied to a shipyard as Government Furnished Equipment to replace the existing Pettibone deck crane and The new telescopic crane shall also be ABS classed.

All offerors who provide goods or services to the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) located on the website https://www.sam.gov. Additionally, all Services Disabled/Veterans Owned Business or Veterans Owned Small Business must be registered with the Department of Veterans Affairs Center of Veterans Enterprise Vet Biz Registry located at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/.
