Description

MISSILE DEFENSE AGENCY November 7, 2022 Contract Announcement

Huntsman International, LLC located in The Woodlands, Texas is being awarded a competitive firm-fixed-price type contract. The total value of this contract is $4,502,216. Under this new contract, the contractor will develop new High-Char-Yield (HCY) carbon matrix solutions for nearly void-free Carbon-Carbon Composite (CCC) laminates with reduced processing requirements. The work will be performed in The Woodland, Texas. The period of performance is from November 2022 through April 2024. This contract was competitively procured via publication on the Contract Opportunities website under the Missile Defense Agency's Innovation, Science & Technology (IS&T) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) HQ0860-21-S-0001. Fiscal Year 2022 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) funds in the amount of $4,502,216 will be obligated at time of award. The Missile Defense Agency, Huntsville, Alabama is the contracting activity (HQ0860-23-C-0013).
