McClellan Wildland Fire Training Center Janitorial

Background
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is issuing this solicitation for janitorial services at the Wildland Fire Training Center (WFTC) located in McClellan, California. The WFTC serves as a training center and is heavily utilized during fire emergencies, particularly from June to October. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns, with the goal of ensuring high-quality cleaning services for the facility's various spaces.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide comprehensive janitorial services for three buildings totaling approximately 108,879 square feet, including office space, training rooms, conference rooms, breakrooms, restrooms, a gym, a kitchen, and dorm rooms. Specific tasks include:

- Year-round cleaning of all areas;
- Emptying wastepaper baskets and trashcans;
- Cleaning and disinfecting wash basins, toilets, urinals, and shower fixtures;
- Mopping floors in restrooms;
- Vacuuming carpeted areas;
- Replenishing paper products and soap dispensers;
- Conducting semi-annual carpet cleaning and floor maintenance (strip and wax).

The contractor must adhere to a specified cleaning schedule that accommodates the variable use of dormitory rooms based on training schedules. Additional short-notice janitorial services may be required during peak usage times.

Period of Performance
The contract is anticipated to have a base period of one year starting from January 30, 2026, with options for three additional one-year periods. The total duration shall not exceed four years.

The services will be performed at the USDA Forest Service Wildland Fire Training and Conference Center located at 3237 Peacekeeper Way McClellan, CA 95652, as well as at Dormitory Buildings 941 (3426 Beech Avenue) and 942 (3427 Beech Avenue), both in McClellan, CA.
