MATLAB & Simulink Full Suite for Institute-Wide Licenses

Background
The Intramural Research Program of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA-IRP) has a diverse organization with dozens of labs conducting various types of experiments, both clinical and preclinical. The program requires the renewal of an institute-wide license for the MATLAB software and its associated licensed libraries from MathWorks, including Simulink. The software will be used for data analysis, machine learning, data acquisition, and modeling and simulating processes before implementation.
This procurement is not a request for competitive proposals.

Work Details
The contract entails the purchase of MATLAB & Simulink Full Suite for Institute-Wide Licenses (Part No. Campus Wide Suite (CWSSMS)) from MathWorks. The purpose and objectives include providing all NIDA-IRP scientists access to state-of-the-art software, saving money, and allowing for expansion into new areas such as machine learning, deep learning, GPU processing, and process modeling and simulation using Simulink. The estimated period of performance includes the base period from September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025, with option years extending to August 31, 2027.
