The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing Material Handling Equipment (MHE) support services. Background
The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is seeking potential sources for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) support services, which include preventive maintenance and unscheduled repair services.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational efficiency of MHE at DeCA commissary locations in Louisiana and Kansas.
The agency's mission is to provide quality grocery products at a savings to military personnel and their families.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide the following services:
1. Preventive Maintenance (PM):
- Coordinate PM work dates with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
- Complete the first PM visit within 15 calendar days of contract award and subsequent visits every three months.
- Report necessary repairs discovered during PM to the COR for authorization as unscheduled maintenance (UM).
- Maintain cleanliness during work, including proper disposal of hazardous materials.
- Provide service tickets with PM checklists signed by both the contractor and COR.
2. Unscheduled Maintenance (UM):
- Respond to UM service calls within 16 working hours and provide a signed service estimate.
- Perform approved UM repairs within seven working days, coordinating with the COR to minimize disruption.
- Notify the COR of any delays in repair status and provide a weekly repair timeline status update.
- Warranty on parts and labor for repairs conducted, ensuring no additional costs for failures within warranty periods.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at DeCA commissary locations in Barksdale Air Force Base and Fort Polk in Louisiana, as well as Fort Leavenworth and Fort Riley in Kansas.
