Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Leasing Support Services - NAVSEALOGCEN

Background
The Naval Sea Logistics Center (NAVSEALOGCEN) is seeking assistance from the commercial industry for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Leasing Support Services at Cheatham Annex in Williamsburg, VA.

This sources sought notice aims to gather information to determine if the task order should be set aside for small business competition. The goal is to prepare a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for MHE leasing support services, with the intent of ensuring adequate responses from interested small business concerns.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing Material Handling Equipment and maintenance support through a lease to NAVSEALOGCEN as outlined in the draft Statement of Work (SOW).

The services required include: leasing various types of MHE units, responding to maintenance calls within one business day, and providing replacement MHE units if malfunctioning equipment cannot be repaired within one business day. The contractor must demonstrate capability to deliver all MHE units listed in the SOW and have a satisfactory performance record for similar work.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract will have a one-year Base Period with two additional one-year Option Periods.

Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg, VA.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must indicate their business size. Companies must demonstrate their capability to provide all required MHE units and respond promptly to maintenance requests. Relevant experience and satisfactory performance records for similar requirements are also necessary.
