Background
The Matagorda Ship Channel maintenance dredging project is initiated to ensure the navigability of the channel from the Peninsula to Point Comfort. 2. Preparing Time Impact Analyses for any delays or changes requested by the government, including justifications referencing contract provisions.
3. Conducting weekly progress meetings to review project status against planned progress and addressing RFIs, RFPs, and submittals.
4. Implementing a Fragmentary Network (Fragnet) for time impact analysis and ensuring all proposed changes are approved before incorporation into the project schedule.
5. Managing variations in estimated quantities of dredged material and ensuring equitable adjustments are processed as necessary.
6. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, including having lookout personnel for vessel monitoring during dredging operations.
