Master Data Management & Enterprise Data Lake

Background
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) is using the exception to fair opportunity described in 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) to award a sole source task order to serve as a bridge contract to continue the Master Data Management (MDM) and Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) services. This is due to the urgent need for the supplies or services and the logical follow-on nature of the order.

Work Details
CMS requires four months of severable, professional services to continue the MDM and EDL work. MDM provides shared services to many CMS programs to manage, move, present, manipulate, and analyze core CMS data assets. EDL is a centralized, managed, and secure location where systems and individual users can find, locate, access, and use CMS enterprise information.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this bridge contract will be four months from June 28, 2023, through October 27, 2023. Additionally, there is an option for a transition out period from October 28, 2023, through February 27, 2024.
