The purpose of this announcement is to notify Industry that:

The Maritime Industrial Base (MIB) Direct Reporting Program Manager (DRPM-MIB) will sponsor an Industry Forum on Thursday, 17 July 2025 in Washington, D.C. Check-in for this forum will begin at 0800. The tentative location for the Industry Forum will take place at 300 M. Street SE, Washington, D.C.

This conference is designed to provide information on the DRPM-MIB's priorities and provide an update on the state of Advanced Manufacturing, Workforce Development and Supply Chain efforts on-going within the DRPM-MIB Program. The forum offers a chance to gain familiarity with DRPM-MIB Program personnel in general and get feedback from industry on capabilities and capacity available to the DRPM-MIB Program.

Who Should Attend: Any U.S. based firms interested in strengthening maritime supply chain resilience, modernizing facilities and infrastructure for maritime uses, expanding maritime education and workforce development, and scaling advanced manufacturing techniques to revolutionize the maritime supply chain. Firms are limited to two (2) representatives per company as space is limited and participants are required to pre-register for this event. Industry representatives interested in attending this event shall contact Mr. Matthew Craft, at matthew.r.craft7.civ@us.navy.mil, and Mr. Jonathan Overton, at jonathan.m.overton3.civ@us.navy.mil, no later than Monday, June 30, 2025 and provide the following information:

  • Attendee(s) Name & Title
  • Company Name
  • Unique Entity ID
  • Email Address

Upon conclusion of the briefings, the DRPM-MIB, MIB Acquisition Manager, and a NAVSEA 02 Contracts representative will be available for 15 minute 1-on-1 sessions, upon request. For any firms that have interest in scheduling a 1-on-1 session, email Mr. Matthew Craft and Mr. Jonathan Overton. As part of this request for a meeting, please include an executive summary (MS Powerpoint or PDF) addressing vendor's capabilities and/or capacity to take on additional work, and identify any relevant work previously performed with NAVSEA (if applicable), other Government agencies, and/or the private sector. Vendors shall submit requests for 1-on-1 sessions and executive summaries no later than June 30 2025. The subject line of the email shall be limited to: DRPM-MIB Industry Forum Brief from (Company Name).

Any questions attendees wish to be addressed during the forum shall be submitted by email to Mr. Matthew Craft and Mr. Jonathan Overton as early as possible, but no later than Monday, July 7th, 2025.

The agenda items to be discussed at the forum, will be provided no later than five (5) business days prior.

- 1140 – 1210: Tailored Advanced Manufacturing Solutions by Ms. Larissa Smith
- 1210 – 1215: MIB Acquisition Announcement by Mr. Matthew Craft
- 1215 - 1230: Q&A session
- 1300 – 1700: Scheduled one-on-one breakout sessions for interested firms.
