This serves as public notice that Orbital Insight, Inc. was selected to advance to contracting for this TOI. Any resulitng award notice will be made via a separate award notice posting. No further updates are anticipated to be made here.

All offerors selected for Step 2 have been notified. All offerors selected for Step 2 will receive a supplementary notification with more details and instructions. All offerors who were NOT selected for Step 2 will be provided with notices over the next few days. We appreciate everyone's participation and patience. No further updates are anticipated to be made here.

UPDATE 07 JUNE 2024

We are currently evaluating Step 1 solutions. All offerors selected for Step 2 will be notified simultaneously and as soon as possible. All relevant details will be provided at that time. For planning purposes, Step 2 in-person briefs are scheduled to be held 8-12 July 2024 in Mountain View, CA. Any updates will be provided here.

Background
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is issuing a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) authorized by the Department of Defense (DoD) Class Deviation 2022-O0007. Under a CSO, NGA may competitively award proposals received in response to a general solicitation to acquire innovative commercial items, technologies, and services based on a review of proposals by scientific, technological, or other subject matter expert peers within NGA and their National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) partners. This project focuses on the topic of Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), which is the effective understanding of anything associated with the maritime domain that could impact the security, safety, economy, or environment of the United States.

Work Details
The work under this contract involves providing innovative solutions related to Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated Fishing (IUU-F) for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. The solutions may include existing technologies or procedures that are not currently in use but would enhance or streamline mission capabilities. The contract will follow a two-step evaluation process: Step 1 involves submitting a Solution Document (SD) describing the capability in terms of the problem it is solving within relevant context. Step 2 includes an invitation to participate in a demonstration session to provide evidence and more details on the technical merit, operational relevance, and business viability of the proposed solution submitted in Step 1.

Period of Performance
The period of performance constraints for this contract will be specified in the submitted proposals and must include proposed Rough Order Magnitude (ROM) pricing. All prices shall be valid for a minimum of 90 days after the response date.
