Background
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking to purchase Marine Debris Program Removal Services. The Marine Debris Program (MDP) was established in 2006 to identify, assess, reduce, and prevent marine debris and its adverse impacts on the marine environment. The program's mission includes removal, prevention, research, monitoring and detection, regional and international coordination, and emergency response. The recent Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act has provided funding to support marine debris removal efforts throughout the coastal United States and territories.

Work Details
The contractor is required to coordinate and execute the rapid removal of marine debris targets in coastal areas on an as-needed basis. This includes maintaining readiness for rapid removal, following a comprehensive safety plan for all removal activities, coordinating with NOAA MDP for assessment and planning, conducting marine debris removal and disposal, providing progress reporting following the completion of all removal activities, and providing follow-on informational briefings and presentations as requested by NOAA MDP.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this multiple-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) is until June 30, 2028.

Place of Performance
The contract requires the contractor to provide services throughout the coastal United States and territories.
