1. Incorporate the previously posted Q&As into the solicitation, and to
2. Confirm the NAICS code of 561210, as stated in the previously
posted Q&As.

This amendment does not extend the solicitation closing date. No new offers are being
solicited or will be accepted for consideration.

10/24/2022 - The purpose of this solicitation is to provide logistics overhaul, configuration management, material management and spare parts procurement support services as described in section C to the RRF and the U.S. Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration, Division of Logistics Support (MAR-614). Much of the work to be performed under this contract requires an in-depth knowledge of the American Bureau of Shipping's Nautical Systems Enterprise (NSE) software. NSE and a few related software tools are referred to as the RRF Management System (RMS).

Background
The purpose of this solicitation is to provide logistics overhaul, configuration management, material management and spare parts procurement support services as described in section C to the U.S. Department of Transportation's Maritime Administration, Division of Logistics Support (MAR-614). The Ready Reserve Force (RRF) program, which is comprised of approximately 41 vessels, supports the rapid worldwide deployment of U.S. military forces. The RRF is specifically structured to transport Department of Defense (DOD) unit equipment and initial re-supply for forces deploying anywhere in the world during the critical period before adequate numbers of commercially available ships can be marshaled.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all management, planning, supervision, labor, material, supplies and equipment necessary to accomplish shipboard logistics overhauls and upgrades. This includes services such as material inventory services, installed equipment validation services, configuration change analysis and procurement research, logistics support tiger team services, warehouse services, system planning, analysis, development and technical support, shipping and receiving services, purchasing services, contract personnel management and special invoice processing requirements.
