ManTech Program Conference

Background
The Department of Defense (DoD), through the Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to gather information for a no-cost contract in support of the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering Manufacturing Technology (ManTech) Program.

The goal is to facilitate the Defense Manufacturing Focused Conference, which aims to bring together industry and government stakeholders to discuss topics related to advanced manufacturing and the ManTech program.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for organizing, planning, and executing the annual Defense Manufacturing Conference (DMFC). Key tasks include:
1. Organizing conference logistics including venue selection, registration processes, and attendee management.
2. Collaborating with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and planning committee to develop technical session content and manage speaker invitations.
3. Establishing a fee structure for attendees that incentivizes participation from various sectors within the defense manufacturing community.
4. Conducting site evaluations for potential venues and managing contracts for conference space and accommodations.
5. Providing on-site coordination during the conference, including registration management, security services, and vendor support.
6. Post-conference responsibilities include gathering feedback through surveys, providing digital access to conference materials, and conducting an event review meeting.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance is 18 months for the base period with two additional 18-month option periods.

Bidder Requirements
