Manlift maintenance and repair services

Background
The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research for potential procurement of Man Lift maintenance, repairs, and inspection services at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ. The goal is to identify interested vendors capable of providing these services. This effort is not a solicitation for quotes but rather a survey to gather capabilities statements from interested businesses.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:

1. Provide Preventive Maintenance/Inspections and Service of Man Lifts, ensuring objectives are performed as scheduled 95% of the time (Paragraph 1.1).

2. Provide Non-recurring Major Repairs on Man Lifts, ensuring repairs are performed within required time frames 95% of the time (Paragraph 1.2).

3. Perform Non-recurring Service Calls, responding to calls in required time frames and performing requested services 95% of the time (Paragraph 1.3).

The contractor must ensure all major repair work commences within three days of Contracting Officer (CO) approval and is completed within seven days, minimizing equipment downtime. A written repair completion report must be provided within two days post-completion detailing mechanical/electrical deficiencies, parts replaced, costs, and man-hours per repair.

The contractor shall respond to service calls Monday through Friday from 0700 AM to 0400 PM, with a maximum effort of four hours labor per call and materials not exceeding $100.00 for major repairs.
