On page 17 of the PWS The following language is removed from the performance work statement Catastrophic Limitation - An Offeror may include in the technical proposal a catastrophic limitation which would place a cap on the Contractor's liability for costs associated with the community-based treatment of inmates.

On page 20 of the PWS in the Procedures for Processing Medical/Surgical and Psychiatric Referrals the language is altered to read as follows Following re-designation approval from Central Office, the FBOP will pay the Contractor either the lesser of Medicare rates plus 20% or the Contractors actual costs for all community-based treatment costs incurred greater than $35,000 dollars and a consecutive hospital admission of 7 days or greater.

Community-based facilities and providers must be within 100 driving miles of FCC Beaumont. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/ requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Year and four 12-month option years for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Year and all Option Years are as follows:

Mandays: 1,825,000 per year (approximately)
