Background
The solicitation is for the purchase of a turn-key solution for the teardown, debris removal, relocation, re-installation, and calibration of two existing Makino a82m Horizontal Machining Centers on Tinker AFB, OK. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the scope of work required for the relocation project.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, material, parts, quality control, transportation, and inspection manuals necessary to perform the relocation of two Makino A82M 4-Axis Horizontal Machining Centers from building B9001 on Tinker AFB to the new isolation leveling foundation at the Oklahoma City– Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC).
The services include cutting, removal, and disposal of existing building foundation at the destination; design, installation, and leveling of two new isolation slabs at the destination; rigging and labor necessary to uninstall and prepare both machines for movement from their current location; relocation, rigging, and labor necessary for the installation of both machines including reconnecting both machines to the required utilities (air and electricity) and aligning each machine at the destination; conducting the Accredited A2LA, ISO-17025 machine tool laser calibration service and providing documentation reflecting calibration to factory standards for both machines.
