Major Repairs Boiler Plant   2

Background
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy is issuing this contract for major repairs to the Boiler Plant, specifically aimed at renovating and providing new kitchenette, toilet, shower, and locker room facilities.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the functionality and safety of the Boiler Plant facilities in alignment with the Academy's mission.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the following tasks:

- Renovation of kitchenette, toilet, shower, and locker room facilities;
- Removal of existing kitchen cabinets and toilet fixtures;
- Demolition of portions of existing concrete floor slab;
- Preparation of selected existing walls with waterproofing;
- Installation of new walls, doors, frames, hardware, ceilings, finishes, toilet accessories, lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and electrical work to support all new installations.

Additionally, there are four option items for bid:

- Option 1 involves renovations to the Highland Tank Containment Area;
- Option 2 covers exterior brick masonry and lintel renovations;
- Option 3 pertains to exterior stair, wall, and paving renovations;
- Option 4 addresses force sewer main relocation.

All work must comply with the specifications outlined in PSN 21590583 (612 pages) and Drawings CC-1369 (27 sheets).

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from June 1, 2026 to no later than June 1, 2027.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
