Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) for major maintenance and repair (M&R) at the Sector Field Office located in Southwest Harbor, Maine, specifically in Hancock County.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the facility is maintained and repaired to support the operational readiness of the USCG.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and disposal required for Major Maintenance & Repair (M&R) at the Sector Field Office.

The work includes:
- Multi-Mission Building (MMB): partial roofing replacement at second story roofs, floor and wall finishes replacement, suspended ceilings replacement, replace boiler hydronic circulation pumps, repair/replace air handling units (AHUs), provide energy recovery ventilators (ERVs) and fresh air/exhaust air systems, replace second floor sprinkler system with dry-pipe, branch circuits replacement at first floor and corridors, lighting replacement, provide shunt trip devices, replace battery room circuits, fire alarm system.
- Barracks/Galley Building (UPH): Replace messdeck flooring, replace messdeck/galley fire shutters, provide modular walk-in refrigeration and freezer boxes, lavatory and shower head replacement, repair/replace ERVs, evaluate/inspect boiler breeching, replace kitchen hood in galley, replace steam warming table, plumbing and fire alarm system.
- Boat Maintenance Facility (BMF): Installation of a fire alarm system.
Optional bid items include window and lintel replacement for MMB; roof replacement at all one-story roofs for MMB; copper water line replacement for UPH.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall commence work within ten calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and must complete all work ready for use no later than 362 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed.
