Maintenance & Repair Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC)   3

Background
The solicitation is for an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for Maintenance and Repair Construction Projects Primarily Located at Marine Corps Installations East Facilities in North Carolina, issued by NAVFAC MID-ATLANTIC. The contract aims to provide a range of general maintenance and repair construction services for small work requirements of a one-time nature, typically issued to correct or repair situations including but not limited to, structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, civil, grounds, road, pavement work, communication systems, new construction, demolition/installation of flooring, painting, etc. for projects primarily located at Marine Corps Installations East (MCI East) but may be used throughout the NAVFAC MIDLANT area of operations (AO), if deemed necessary.

Work Details
The resulting contracts will provide for a diverse range of general maintenance and repair construction services for small work requirements of a one-time nature. The proposed seed project for this solicitation is titled AS2818 Head Facility Repairs. Task orders under the MACC will be design-bid-build. Work will be primarily performed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. However, it may also be performed at other military and government installations/sites under the Marine Corps Installation East Area of Responsibility.

Period of Performance
The completion date for the basic contract is one (1) year from the date of contract award with four (4) one-year option periods. The total five-year (base and four, one-year options) estimated construction cost for all contracts is not to exceed $40,000,000.00 for the life of the contract.

Place of Performance
Work will be primarily performed at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. However, it may also be performed at other military and government installations/sites under the Marine Corps Installation East Area of Responsibility.
