Maintenance, Repair, and Upgrade of Existing Government-Owned Data Acquisition System Components/Related Software   2

The Army Contracting Command, Technology Development Directorate (TDD) Aviation System Integration and Demonstration (A/SID), is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirements listed in Appendix I: Detailed Description of Requirement.

TDD currently has a requirement for services to maintain, repair, and upgrade existing Government-owned Data Acquisition System components/related software (Appendix I) manufactured by Teletronics Technology Corporation, acquired by Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions.

The results of this Sources Sought Notice will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334511 Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing; and Federal Supply Code 16-- Aircraft Components and Accessories. TDD anticipates award of an IDIQ contract with a maximum value of $10,000,000 over the ordering period of five (5) years.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for sources capable of satisfying the requirement does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this Sources Sought is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

If your organization has the capability to maintain, repair, and upgrade existing Teletronics Technology Corporation Data Acquisition Systems, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, web site address, telephone number, and business size and type of ownership for the organization; 2) A capability statement as to how you will satisfy the requirement to include appropriate documentation supporting claims of ability to maintain, repair, and upgrade existing Government owned Data Acquisition System components/related software including access to technical data and authorization by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to perform the services required; 3) If respondent is the OEM please provide the estimated costs to procure rights to the technical data sufficient to promote competition or state the OEM declines to sell it. Please identify any contractors authorized by the OEM to perform the services required or state there are none.

The government will evaluate all responses received to this Sources Sought notice to ascertain potential market capability and potential sources who can provide the supplies/hardware/software/components required and to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition.

Submission Instructions: Interested parties who have the capability to maintain, repair, and upgrade existing Teletronics Technology Corporation Data Acquisition Systems /related software as described in Appendix 1 are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by May 20, 2022. APPENDIX 1: Detailed Description of Requirement

The requirement is for Data Acquisition System (DAS) units and components that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with existing and future parts to ensure compatibility, testability, and supportability. Support is required for current DAS, new DAS that can be used interchangeably with the current DAS, accessories for DAS and data collection in support of testing, procurement of instrumentation hardware, instrumentation software, maintenance, and support of R&D Safety of Flight ground/flight testing data collection.

Examples of DAS units that will be procured under the anticipated contract include, but are not limited to the following, which must be compatible with existing hardware/software manufactured by Teletronics Technology Corp.
