Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District, is issuing this solicitation for the Maintenance Dredging of the Wareham Harbor Federal Navigation Project located in Wareham, Massachusetts. The mission of the agency is to ensure safe and efficient navigation in federal waterways. This contract aims to maintain the navigational depths required for safe vessel passage in the harbor.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for performing maintenance dredging activities at Wareham Harbor. This includes:

1) Removal of sediment and debris from designated areas to restore navigational depths;

2) Compliance with environmental restrictions as outlined in Section 015719 of the specifications;

3) Adherence to representations and certifications detailed in Section 004500;

4) Following instructions provided in Section 002100;

5) Abiding by conditions of contract specified in Section 007000; and

6) Meeting procurement and contracting requirements as stated in Section 000000.

The project specifications and plans are dated December 2025.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 5 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and is expected to complete all work within a total of 280 calendar days.
