It is requested that an email be sent to Frederick.L.Cooper@usace.army.mil to confirm attendance by your organization no later than Thursday, 20 June at 3:00PM (EDT).The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award to a single firm fixed-price contract. The project which is located in Volusia County, Florida consists of maintenance dredging approximately 900,000 from the Intracoastal Waterway (IWW) in the vicinity of Ponce de Leon Inlet and the Ponce de Leon Inlet navigation channel. Excavated material from both projects will be placed in the North Beach Placement Area which lies north of the inlet. Incidental work adheres to permit and NEPA requirements to include but not limited to: turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, beach fill quality control, and beach tilling. Bids are due Thursday, 05 September 2024 at 1:00PM, (EDT) and the Bid Opening will be held at 2:00PM (EDT)NAICS Code 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities. The Small Business Standard is $37.0 million. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.The period of performance associated with this requirement is 300 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).THIS IS AN SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFERORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. In order to receive notification of any amendments to this solicitation, interested vendors must REGISTER AS AN INTERESTED VENDOR on the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://sam.gov/. If you are not registered, the Government is not responsible with providing you with notification of any amendments to this solicitation. You must be registered in SAM.gov in order to be eligible to receive an award from this solicitation. For additional information, please call 866-606-8220 or visit the SAM website at https://www.sam.gov/. The only authorized transmission method for a bid in response to this solicitation is electronically via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Solicitation Module.
