Maintenance and Repair of Washer and Dryers, Fort Bragg NC   2

Background
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, is seeking to procure maintenance and repair services for government-owned washers and dryers.

This contract aims to support the operational needs of Fort Bragg, which spans approximately 161,000 acres and includes over 5,667 buildings housing a population of over 63,000 military personnel and their families.

The contractor will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all washers and dryers located at Pope Army Airfield, Camp Mackall, and the Aberdeen Training Facility (ATF).

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services necessary to perform maintenance and repairs on government-owned washers and dryers.

Specific tasks include:
1. Maintenance and repair of various models including Maytag, Speed Queen, and Whirlpool washers and dryers.
2. Removal and replacement of unrepairable machines with written consent from the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
3. Conducting preventative maintenance as outlined in Technical Exhibit #3.
4. Cleaning dryer vent exhaust systems annually using NADCA certified procedures.
5. Providing monthly reports detailing service orders performed including building numbers, equipment types, maintenance performed, parts ordered, etc., by the 10th calendar day of each month.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of twelve (12) months with four (4) additional option years of twelve (12) months each.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed across multiple locations including barracks, administrative community buildings, and off-post training sites at Pope Army Airfield, Camp Mackall, Fort Bragg, and the Aberdeen Training Facility (ATF).
