Synopsis:

700CONS/PKA, Kaiserslautern, Germany is publicizing this sources sought to gather industry information with respect to an anticipated follow-on contract for the Maintenance and Repair of Car Lifts and Dock Levelers in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC). This sources sought is issued solely for collecting industry information to be used for the purpose of preliminary acquisition planning. This notice does not constitute a Request for Proposal, Solicitation, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential, qualified, experienced and interested offerors for further planning purposes. It should not be construed as a commitment of the Government for any purpose other than market research and is not restricted to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the data collected in result of this market research and any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is strictly voluntary. This announcement constitues Government market research and may result in revisions in both its requirements and anticipated acquisition strategies based on industry responses.

Requirements Description:

The contractor shall provide all non-personal services, management, tools, supplies, materials, equipment, transportation and labor necessary to perform maintenance, safety inspections and repairs of Car Lifts and Dock Levelers (this term includes Car Lifts and Dock Levelers that are steel construction metal frames with electrical and hydraulic systems) at Ramstein Air Base, Construction and Training Squadron (CTS), Vogelweh, Einsiedlerhof, and Kapaun Air Station in a manner that shall ensure safe and continuous operation). Should a future requirement evolve from this preliminary planning process, the anticipated start date for performance is on or about 1 April 2021. 700 CONS anticipates to award a contract with a contractual period of 5 years.

Interested sources shall respond to this sources sought notice no later than 14 August 2020 at 17:00 PM Central European Summer Time. Vendors are asked to review Attch 1 Draft PWS_MR Car Lifts and submit Attch 2 MR Questionnaire for Car Lifts to the POCs listed below.
