Maintenance and Infrastructure Improvements at G8 INL Facilities – American Hangar, FAP Base–Callao, Lima, Peru   2

Background
The U.S. Embassy in Lima, Peru, is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for maintenance and infrastructure improvements at the G8 INL Facilities located at the FAP Base–Callao. The project aims to enhance safety, functionality, and compliance with applicable building codes and mission requirements.

The work will focus on various areas within the American Hangar, including passenger restrooms, second-floor bathrooms, exterior structures, passenger hall, VIP lounge, and logistics offices.

Work Details
The contractor will perform comprehensive multi-trade renovation and maintenance work which includes:

- Demolition of existing structures;
- Plumbing installations including water supply and drainage systems;
- Architectural finishes such as tile installation and painting;
- Woodwork including door maintenance and partition installation;
- Electrical work including lighting installation;
- Roofing work including waterproofing;
- Metal structure maintenance.

Specific tasks include complete renovations of men's and women's passenger restrooms, second-floor bathrooms, exterior evacuation staircase maintenance, roofing and renovations in the passenger hall and VIP lounge, as well as logistics office updates. The contractor is also responsible for site cleanup and providing professional engineering supervision throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The total period of performance for this contract is 120 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed. Design submittals are expected within 20 calendar days after notice to proceed.

FAP Base–Callao, Lima, Peru.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide performance and payment bonds. Contractors must be licensed professionals with relevant certifications (CIP certification required). They are also required to conduct site verification prior to proposal submission to assess existing conditions.
