Maintain EIFS Skirting

Background
Fort Walker is a U.S. Army Garrison under the Installation Management Command, encompassing approximately 76,000 acres in Caroline County, Virginia. The garrison provides realistic joint and combined arms support training to America’s Defense Forces.

The contract aims to repair the Exterior Insulation Finish System (EIFS) on 13 buildings in the Warrior Camp Barracks area, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing military training activities.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide qualified personnel, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other necessary items to repair EIFS on all 13 buildings in the Warrior Camp Barracks area at Fort Walker, VA. Specific tasks include:
1. Repair noted areas of EIFS skirting damage on all specified barracks and BOQ buildings.
2. Remove damaged brick veneer and metal skirting as needed.
3. Install all items according to manufacturer’s instructions and comply with National, State, and local codes.
4. Submit a Health and Safety Plan and Environmental Protection Plan within 21 calendar days after award.
5. Maintain an adequate workforce for uninterrupted performance of tasks.
6. Conduct work during regular hours unless otherwise approved by the COR.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the EIFS repairs is 30 days from the date of award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at Fort Walker, VA.
