MAC PCB Follow On   6

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) intends to award multiple Small Business Set-aside, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts to fulfill this requirement under the authority of and in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 Contracting by Negotiation.

This requirement is a two-pronged effort to procure Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), and Finished PCB Assemblies for use at the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD). These prototype and production PCBs and Assemblies will be used for various development and test programs. Using Government-provided Gerber files, drill files, drawings, applicable parts lists and assembly instructions, the contractor shall provide one or more of the following: manufacture PCBs and/or Finished Electronic Assemblies for the NAWCWD.

Background
The purpose of this amendment is to answer additional questions from industry. The solicitation is for a MAC PCB Follow On contract. The amendment includes responses to industry questions regarding the use of specific components, accreditation requirements, and the possibility of bidding as a new entity or utilizing past performance of a previous company.

Work Details
The amendment addresses several industry questions related to the contract. It clarifies that if certain components are unavailable due to obsolescence and/or shortages, they should not be included in the quote. It also specifies that CAGE codes are used for identifying the true ownership of an entity and that offerors must provide their CAGE code prior to a contract award. Additionally, it states that bidding as a new CAGE code/entity does not allow for utilizing past performance of the previous company and that requesting advance approval for a contract novation is not possible.
