M776 155mm Cannon Tubes

On April 1, 2026, contract W15QKN-26-D-0006 was awarded to BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P. under the authority of Class Deviation 2024-O0005, Temporary Authorizations for Covered Contracts Related to Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel, for the production and delivery of the M776 Cannon Tubes to support the M777A2 Howitzer.

The award of this contract intends to meet the Government's concurrent requirements to replenish the United States (U.S.) Army ammunition stockpiles, given their rapid depletion amid ongoing armed conflicts; and to establish a second domestic source for M776 Cannon Tubes, both at the lowest possible schedule and performance risks, which a competitive action would jeopardize. BAE Systems Land & Armaments, L.P. is the only existing non-government domestic source with the requisite technology and capability to meet the Government's requirements.
