M72 Light Assault Weapon (LAW) Variants and Shoulder Launched Munitions (SLM) Components   5

The U.S. Army Contracting Command New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Project Manager-Close Combat Systems (PM-CCS), issues the subject solicitation for the manufacturing, testing and delivery of the M72 Light Assault Weapon (LAW) variants and components for Shoulder Launched Munitions (SLM) training systems. All details are contained within the soliciation and attachments.

The Government is fulfilling this requirement via a Sole Source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a period of performance of five (5) years. This contract will be executed with Nammo Defense Systems (NDS), Mesa, AZ 85277, pursuant to Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, with limited competition among sources in the National Technology and Industrial Base (NTIB) for the following components: The Load, Assemble, and Pack (LAP); Warheads; PBXIH-18; PBXN-110; PBXN-9; FFE Propellant Charge; IP-10 and BKNO3 Ignition Charge; M9 Propellant; and Nitrocellulose Containers, pursuant to Title 10 U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(3), as implemented by FAR 6.302-3, Industrial Mobilization; Engineering, Developmental, or Research Capability; or Expert Services.

Any information provided to the Government in response to this notice will become Government property and will not be returned. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost associated with responding to this announcement.
