M4 Rifle and Parts (5.56x45mm NATO)   2

Background
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a requirement for the procurement of complete M4-Style Armalite Rifle (AR) platform rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, as well as all associated parts and accessories. This solicitation is for an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to augment and/or replace existing in-service, reserve, and training rifles, as well as supply parts to maintain its current inventory. The contract may also be available for use by other Federal Government Agencies.

Work Details
The contract includes the following key items:
1. **IDIQ M4-Style Rifle Platform**
- Quantity: 25 units
- Specifications include:
- Fully assembled rifles
- Chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO
- Direct impingement gas operated
- Uniform color (black or FDE)
- Hardcoat anodized (Type III, Class 2)
- Total weight of SDR model rifle does not exceed 6.0 lbs.
- Total weight of MDR model rifle does not exceed 6.75 lbs.
2. **Additional Parts**
- Includes various components such as barrels, handguards, upper and lower receiver assemblies, bolt carrier groups, and more.
3. **Training Requirements**
- Vendor shall provide advanced depot level armorer training classes for up to 25 participants once during the base year and once during each subsequent option year at no additional cost.

Period of Performance
The anticipated contract will have a five (5) year ordering period from the date of award.

Place of Performance
Deliveries will be made to U.S. Customs and Border Protection facilities located at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave, NW, Washington DC 20229.
