Valet Service Contract, STL   3

Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, John Cochran Division, St. Louis VA Medical Center has a requirement for Valet Parking Service to alleviate parking problems experienced by veteran patients at the facility. The contractor will have access to VA-provided wheelchairs to be used by patients attending appointments. The contractor shall be completely liable and responsible for ticketing, securing keys, parking, delivering, and directing certain valet vehicles to and from the valet greeting area.

Work Details
The contractor shall operate from the Main Entrance, Building 1, Parking Lot A, offering valet parking to inpatient veteran patients, outpatient veteran patients with patient identification, and visitors who can verify visitation to hospitalized veteran patients. The contractor is required to park and/or assist in parking veteran patients and visitors five days per week, Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The volume of vehicles parked averages between 450-600 vehicles per day.
The valet service will also include the use of VA-provided wheelchairs stationed at the Ambulatory Care Entrance in the valet greeting area. The proposed hours of operation are 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays.

Period of Performance
The contract is a firm-fixed price contract for a base year (12 months) with four option years. The period of performance includes the following periods: March 25, 2024 - March 24, 2025; March 25, 2025 - March 24, 2026; March 25, 2026 - March 24, 2027; March 25, 2027 - March 24, 2028; and March 25, 2028 - March 24, 2029.

Place of Performance
The valet parking services will be performed at St. Louis VA Medical Center's John Cochran Division located at 915 North Grand Blvd, St. Louis MO 63106.
