M1300 Enhanced Heavy Equipment Transporter System (EHETS) Tractor Modification (MOD) Kits   3

Army Contracting Command Detroit Arsenal (ACC-DTA) is issuing a solicitation for the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), non-commercial contract for the procurement of 1,384 each (EA) M1300 Enhanced Heavy Equipment Transporter System (EHETS) tractor modification (MOD) kits. This kit, which is a unification of MOD A and MOD B hardware, is required to upgrade the M1070A1 Heavy Equipment Transporter (HET) tractor to the M1300 EHETS tractor configuration. The proposed contract will be issued on a sole source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 to Oshkosh Defense, LLC (CAGE 75Q65). The technical data is proprietary Oshkosh Defense as it is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the M1300 EHETS Tractor and modification kits hardware required to upgrade the M1070A1 HET tractor to the M1300 EHETS Tractor configuration. Pursuant to FAR 5.201(c), subcontracting opportunities may exist with the prime contractor subsequent to contract award. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action, upon response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the U.S. Government.
