Background
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is issuing a contract for the operation and maintenance of facilities at the Research Triangle Park (RTP).
The EPA's mission is to protect human health and the environment, and this contract aims to ensure the efficient functioning of its facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for operation, maintenance, and inspection of Building Automation Systems (BAS), operation of a facility trouble desk, provision of key personnel, administrative support, and implementation of a preventative maintenance program.
Tasks include managing HVAC systems, electrical services, security systems, fire alarm systems, plumbing, laboratory ventilation management, technical drawing administration, and task order management.
The contractor must also adhere to quality assurance procedures and provide detailed reports on work progress.

Period of Performance
The contract includes a base period from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, with four option periods extending annually until March 31, 2026.
