Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, FL has a requirement for providing Food Service Attendants in support of five dining facilities at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay GA. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 722310 with a size standard of $38.5M. The proposed method of competition will be a 100% HUBzone Certified Small Business Set-A-Side with the intent to follow competitive procedures permitted under the Randolph-Sheppard Act (34CFR395.33 (b); to give priority to a blind service provider whose proposal is determined to be in the competitive range of proposals submitted). The base period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to begin 01 October 2018 through 30 September 2019; with four (4) one-year option periods. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract as a result of proposals received from the solicitation. It is estimated that the solicitation will be available on or about 15 June 2018 at the following website: www.neco.navy.mil which interfaces with the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov. The expected date of contract award is on or about 31 August 2018. It is the responsibility of all interested parties to independently review the referenced web links for downloading copies of the solicitation and any attachments. The requirement is currently performed under contract number N68836-15-P-0123 with Base Services of Athens, Inc. expiring 30 September 2018.
