Background
The Lyndon B. Johnson National Historic Park, managed by the National Park Service (NPS), is seeking to procure monthly pest control services. The goal of this contract is to ensure the preservation of historic structures and sensitive facilities while effectively managing pest populations through Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide routine preventive pest control services for government-owned buildings, including historic structures and sensitive facilities. The scope of work includes:

- Conducting monthly inspections of interior and exterior areas for pest activity;
- Applying preventive treatments to deter insects, rodents, and nuisance pests;
- Treating building perimeters, entry points, foundations, and utility penetrations;
- Providing additional service visits as needed if pest activity persists;
- Coordinating all work with park staff to minimize disruption;
- Ensuring all work avoids damage to historic materials and finishes;
- Using least-toxic treatment methods consistent with IPM principles;
- Complying with NPS Preservation Briefs and Director’s Orders;
- Utilizing only EPA-registered pesticides approved for use in occupied buildings; and
- Providing documentation after each service visit that includes date of service, observed pest activity, products used, and recommendations for corrective actions.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on August 1, 2026, and will continue through July 31, 2031, with options for renewal in subsequent years.

Place of Performance
Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park, including various designated government buildings located in Johnson City, Texas.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) and are encouraged to conduct a site visit prior to submitting a quote. They must comply with Service Labor Standards and provide quotes valid for 60 days from the solicitation close date.
