Luke Days 2024 - Shuttle Bus Services   2

Background
The solicitation is for shuttle bus/transport vehicles and drivers to conduct continuous shuttle pick-up and drop off services between Luke AFB and the various parking lots in the nearby areas to support the Luke AFB Airshow 23-24 March 2024. The agency issuing the contract is Luke AFB, and the goal of the contract is to provide transportation services for the airshow attendees.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide shuttle buses/transport vehicles and drivers to conduct continuous shuttle pick-up & drop-off services between Luke AFB and the various parking lots in the nearby areas to support the Luke AFB Airshow 23-24 March 2024.

The minimum number of buses required per quote is 20, with a maximum of 180 buses. The minimum passenger size for the buses is 16 seats, but more seats are preferred, ideally at least 40 seats. The duration of the service is 2 days, on 23 and 24 March 2024, each a 12-hour shift. All buses and drivers must be insured and licensed to transport the public and meet all ADoT requirements/commercial driver’s license requirements. Additionally, one supervisor for bus drivers must be provided on-site at Luke AFB on 23-24 March 2024 or available by phone or radio throughout the weekend. Drivers cannot have any felonies and cannot have been incarcerated within the last 5 years. Drivers and supervisors will need to be identified no later than 2 weeks before the airshow to be vetted & approved on a 'Base Entry List'. There is also an optional line item for one ADA style bus, with an estimated distance for each parking lot.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is specifically on 23-24 March 2024, during the Luke AFB Airshow.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed between Luke AFB and various parking lots in nearby areas, including Green Lot, Orange Lot, Pink Lot, Red Lot, and Purple Lot.
