Luke Days 2024 Airshow

Luke Air Force Base is seeking a turnkey airshow operation, where a company would provide production services and equipment required to produce, promote, manage and execute our air show from parking, port-a-potties, bussing, tents, trash, food vendors, air acts, announcers, sound, visual effect, etc. We expect that this company would not only manage our show more effectively, but they would also make profit on the event. Our aim is to host a world-class airshow to showcase Luke AFB to our community, Phoenix, and surrounding cities. We intend to partner with a company, in a mutually beneficial arrangement, to host our airshow so we get the most value from the experience.

Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, AZ hosts an open-house and Airshow event every 2 years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we have not held an Airshow since 2018. In 2018 our attendance was over 250,000. Historically Air Force bases would mobilize hundreds of Airmen to work over a long weekend, contract with dozens of vendors, organize parking and port-a-potties, and spend many hours of work to host an event that we are not well equipped to host. We believe that a company specializing in large events would be better positioned to host and manage the Luke AFB Airshow in the future.

Please see the attached PWS documents describing the requirements for appropriated-funds (APF) items and non-appropriated funds (NAF) items respectively. The PWS documents also provide further description of the event and goal of the Luke Days 2024 team.

Capabilities Statement: Interested parties are encouraged to submit a capability statement, with descriptive literature, clearly demonstrating ability to meet the stated requirements. The capability statement should include evidence that the party can fulfill the requirement and an estimated lead time for doing so.
