Background
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is issuing a Class Justification and Approval (CJ&A) for the sole source award to Huntington Ingalls Incorporated, through its Ingalls Shipbuilding division, located in Pascagoula, MS.

The contract aims to provide Long Lead Time Material (LLTM) procurement and Detail Design and Construction (DD&C) for the SAN ANTONIO Class (LPD) 34 and 35 Amphibious Transport Dock Ships. This initiative is crucial for maintaining amphibious ship capabilities necessary for Marine Air-Ground Task Force operations across various military operations.

The authority to act under this CJ&A expires with the Obligation Work Limiting Date (OWLD) of LPD 35, estimated to occur on April 30, 2037.

Work Details
The proposed contract actions will include:
- Long Lead Time Material (LLTM) procurement and Detail Design and Construction (DD&C) of up to two SAN ANTONIO Class Flight II ships.
- Associated technical manuals.
- Post-delivery availability planning.
- Systems integration and engineering support.
- Design, material readiness, logistics support.
- Miscellaneous materials such as Coordinated Onboard Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL) material and shore-based spare parts.
