Conducting business with the Government:

Work Details
Description: Lower Monumental Dam STS Motors SOW: TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 5 HP SUBMERSIBLE MOTORS FOR STS FISH SCREENS INTENT The following specifications pertain to the purchase of 6 each, 5 hp submersible motors to be used on the STS Fish Screens at Lower Monumental Dam.
SCOPE The successful bidder shall be required to supply the motor as specified . 5 HP SUBMERSIBLE MOTORS The motors shall be new Reliance/Baldor brand part# SUM70506 (Functional Replacement of S18-A000-0406), with the following salient features: Carbon ceramic seals 5 horsepower 1200 rpm 460 volts 60 HZ Design B Frame Size 180TY 1.15 Service Factor Type P Insulation Class F TENV enclosure Motor connection junction box included Double sealed bearings Manufactured NEMA MG-1 No Thermostats, No moisture probes
3.1 ACCESSORIES Motor lead cable assembly: Min length - 150 feet SUBMITTALS The contractor shall provide one (1) copy of written records of factory test results if available for each motor (i.e. one per motor). OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE MANUALS One (1) copy of the Operation and Maintenance Manual shall be required for each motor. The manuals shall include instructions on the installation, operation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, warranty of the motors, a list of recommended spare parts and distributors where spare parts can be purchased. Any information pertaining to models or components not supplied under this contract shall be crossed out. The Operation and Maintenance Manuals shall also include the name, address, phone number, website address , and the email address of the Contractor.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY All motors shall be delivered in one shipment, FOB to Lower Monumental Lock and Dam within 14 weeks of contract award. The Contractor shall be responsible for packing and shipping the motors in a manner that will ensure undamaged and complete arrival to the Project. No shipments are allowed other than during the normal business hours of Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays.
