Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division (Corona Division), Measurement Science and Engineering Department supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Metrology and Calibration (METCAL) Program. This program sets the measurement science and calibration standards to ensure proper weapons operation, interoperability, and peak readiness for the fleet.

The Navy Calibration Laboratories require a standardized method for mounting and calibrating various handheld force gages, spring gages, and dynamometers. The procurement of the Low-Range Force Frame Kit (FFK) is essential to establish a reliable capability for performing these calibrations.

Work Details
The contract involves procuring a minimum of two (2) and a maximum of forty-five (45) Low-Range Force Frame Kits over a five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The FFK will provide a stable platform for aligning test instruments with calibration standards (load cells or deadweights), ensuring accurate and repeatable force measurements across the fleet.

Each kit must include operator/service manuals that cover safety, theory of operation, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, periodic maintenance, calibration, maintainability data, and operational instructions. The units must come with a manufacturer's standard warranty of at least one year after acceptance by the Navy. Additionally, a Repairable Parts list must be provided for each standard installed.

Period of Performance
One year from Date of Award (DOA), with required delivery 120 days after contract award.

Place of Performance
Marine Corps Air Station Calibration Standards Ready Issue Activity, 612 ITAMI AVENUE, BAY 11, Beaufort SC 29904.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide their company name, address, point of contact, CAGE code and Unique Entity ID; rough order magnitude if available with estimated pricing, lead time, and minimum/maximum order quantity; and industry commentary on the draft Statement of Work.
