Description

This requirement will be procured using procedures for acquisition of commercial services under FAR Part/Subpart 12 and 13.5. It is anticipated that a commercial, Firm Fixed-price Indefinite IDIQ contract with a five-year ordering period will be awarded on a sole source basis to US Ecology
Washington, Inc., Richland, WA 99354-4952, CAGE Code 0YEC8. See attached solicitation N4523A23R4025

Background
This requirement will be procured using procedures for acquisition of commercial services under Part/Subpart 12 and 13.5. It is anticipated that a commercial, Firm Fixed-price Indefinite IDIQ contract with a five-year ordering period will be awarded on a sole source basis to US Ecology Washington, Inc., Richland, WA 99354-4952, CAGE Code 0YEC8.

Work Details
The scope of this contract is acceptance, disposal/burial, and maintenance in perpetuity of LLRW (Classes A, B, and C) generated by Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF). The contractor shall accept, unload, dispose (i.e. bury), and provide burial site maintenance in perpetuity all conforming LLRW shipped by PSNS & IMF and PHNSY & IMF in a facility licensed and approved by appropriate State and Federal agencies.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from September 1, 2023, to August 31, 2028.
