Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD) Non-Destructive Evaluation Branch is responsible for performing radiographic inspections on a variety of energetic devices, including primers, cartridges, igniters, and large rocket motors.

This solicitation aims to secure maintenance and repair services for various X-ray systems used in these inspections, ensuring their operational readiness and reliability.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance on ten (10) X-ray units every six (6) months in accordance with the manufacturer's OEM service guidelines to prevent equipment breakdowns.
2. Emergency Services: Provide emergency repair services no more than six (6) times a year for equipment breakdowns, performed on-site within seventy-two (72) hours after notification.
3. Off-Site Repairs: Offer off-site repair services at the contractor's facility, including initial assessments and cost estimates before repairs are completed. The contractor must ensure that repaired parts are returned within thirty (30) days of receipt at their facility.
4. Technician Certification: All technicians must be certified by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the X-ray systems they service, and documentation of certification must be provided to the Government Technical Point of Contact (TPOC).
5. Maintenance Records: The contractor is required to maintain records of all maintenance performed using the manufacturer's checklist and submit these reports to the Government within three business days after each maintenance action.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance for this contract is expected to begin in FY25 3rd Quarter and will include one base period with four optional twelve-month periods.

Place of Performance
The maintenance services will be conducted at various locations associated with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division.
