Los Padres National Forest; Pacific Valley Generator System Repairs

Background
The contract is issued by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) for repairs on the Electrical Power Generation Systems at the Pacific Valley Fire Station, located in Big Sur, CA.

The Pacific Valley Fire Station is an off-grid facility that includes barracks, employee housing, an engine garage, and offices. It relies on a photovoltaic solar array with batteries and a backup diesel generator to provide electricity. The current permanent generator is not functioning, necessitating the use of a rental generator on site.

The goal of this contract is to replace failed and aging components of the existing 20-kW diesel generator to restore it to operational status.

- Radiator hoses
- Fan belt
- Water pump
- Thermostat
