NOTICE FOR LONGBOW HELLFIRE ENGINEERING SERVICES

This is synopsis is provided in accordance with FAR 5.101. This synopsis is not a request for proposal or information. A solicitation will be issued for this requirement.

The U.S. Army Contracting Command Redstone has a requirement for the acquisition of engineering services for the Longbow HELLFIRE AGM-114L Air-to-Surface Missile in support of the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Special Customer, and Foreign Military Sales Customers. The engineering services will consist of program management, engineering, logistics, and test/evaluation support required to maintain the capability of the Longbow HELLFIRE missile. The anticipated contract type types are Firm Fixed Price and Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee. The resultant contract will consist of a total of 135,000 hours with the basic contract award anticipated in FY22 with four 12 month options (FY22 through FY25) including an additional six month contract extension in accordance with FAR 52.217-8. This requirement is restricted to Longbow, L.L.C., 5600 Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32819. Interested sources should contact the prime contractor directly.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This contract is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements." A determination not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.
