NOTICE OF PRE-SOLICITATION

FA8601-23-R-0011, Logistics Support Services (LSS)

The United States Air Force, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio 45433-5344 is preparing to solicit on or about 28 September 2023 for the following requirement.

This acquisition is for Logistics Support Services (LSS) in the areas of 1) Materiel Management and 2) Maintenance for Transient Aircraft (TA) and Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE). These services will be performed at Wright- Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), other locations throughout the state of Ohio, and locations outside of the state of Ohio that are supported by WPAFB. The scope of work includes the furnishing of all labor, supervision, facilities, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, and other items and services, excluding those identified as Government furnished, in order to successfully accomplish the Government requirement as detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This will be a performance-based services acquisition for non-personal services.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 561210, Facilities Support Services. The size standard is $47M. This requirement will be acquired as a 100% Small Business Set Aside..

Background

The acquisition is a performance-based services acquisition for non-personal services. This requirement will be acquired as a 100% Small Business Set Aside.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the furnishing of all labor, supervision, facilities, vehicles, equipment, tools, materials, and other items and services to successfully accomplish the Government requirement as detailed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The detailed tasks include Materiel Management and Maintenance for Transient Aircraft (TA) and Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), other locations throughout the state of Ohio, and locations outside of the state of Ohio that are supported by WPAFB. The document also outlines specific tasks under Materiel Management and Maintenance including Customer Support Section, Stock Control, Research/Records Maintenance, Equipment Management, Document Control, Bench Stock Support, Systems Management, Asset Management System, Inspection Section, Central Storage, HAZMART among others.
