Logistics Modernization Integration Support (LMIS) for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution   8

Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution has identified a requirement for a Logistics Modernization Integration Support (LMIS) contract to be established in order to facilitate execution of DLA Distribution's modernization initiatives, which will be advertised under solicitation SP3300-20-R-5002.
The scope of the LMIS Program will require awardees of individual TOs to render a wide variety of supplies and services necessary for the innovative, cutting-edge MHE, systems and mechanization; individual, wearable, and autonomous technologies; operational, technical, sustainment, and maintenance support and activities; and lifecycle management required by the DLA Distribution Modernization Program and the requirements for the Performance Work Statement.

The requirement is for a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract with a five-year ordering period. The estimated ordering period for this requirement is September 2020 through September 2025.
This acquisition will be solicited unrestricted pursuant to full and open competition under FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. Contract award will be made on the basis of competition in accordance with FAR 15.101-1 Trade-Off Process. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that contract award will be made in September 2020.
The NAICS code and Size Standard are 333922 and 500 employees, respectively. All documents related to this notice will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments/modifications and/or solicitation postings related to this pre-solicitation notice. There will be no advance notification of amendment/modification/solicitation issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for the issuance of amendments/modifications and/or solicitations.
The tentative time frame for issuance of the Request for Proposal for the above stated requirement is on or around the week of November 18, 2019. A pre-proposal/site visit will be scheduled. Further information regarding the date of the pre-proposal/site visit and instructions for registering will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website. The preproposal conference is tentatively scheduled as a three day event from December 10, 2019 to December 12, 2019 to be held in New Cumberland PA.
