Background
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) conducts, fosters, coordinates and guides research on the causes, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of neurological disorders and stroke. In support of this mission, the Institute hosts, sponsors and co-sponsors scientific conferences, workshops, meetings, research training, career development programs and other scientific-related events which encourage collaborations among members of the research community, voluntary and advocacy groups, and other stakeholders on the advancement of neurological research. The dramatic progress in advances against brain disease in recent years has led to a significant increase in the number of initiatives supported by NINDS.

Work Details
The purpose of this requirement is to acquire a logistical support contract to support the fulfillment of requirements for the planning and implementation of scientific conferences, workshops, meetings, Data and Safety Monitoring Boards (DSMBs) and other NINDS hosted, sponsored, or co-sponsored events. The contractor shall provide all necessary services, qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to provide logistical support services for NINDS hosted events on a scheduled and as-needed basis. The contractor must be able to provide recurring services for events that vary in size and complexity. Events range from a few hours up to three days and can take place in-person, hybrid or virtually.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base year of this Contract will be from June 6, 2024 to March 5, 2025 (9 months). Additional option years will be available for the following periods: March 6, 2025 – March 5, 2026; March 6, 2026 – March 5, 2027; March 6, 2027 – March 5, 2028; March 6, 2028 – March 5, 2029.
