Description

SPE4AX22D9000 is a sole source Captain's of Industry Contract. See attached J&A for complete details and scope of contract authority.

Background
The contract SPE4AX22D9000 is a sole source Captain's of Industry Contract awarded to Lockheed Martin.

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is coordinating with Lockheed Martin to encourage competitive subcontractor selection while ensuring the full scope of logistics support required by the contract.

Work Details
Lockheed Martin will work closely with DLA and its Small Business Office to select subcontractors competitively, consistent with contract objectives.

The contract includes DLAD Procurement Note M06 for evaluating offers for part-numbered items. Lockheed Martin may need to acquire common consumables from DLA, ensuring competitive processes are used. Items that may become competitive will be removed from the contract as per Procurement Note L27.
